Solving For A Greater Purpose
WORKING TOGETHER: GROWING TOGETHER TO PROVIDE LIFELONG MEASURABLE IMPACT TO THE STAKEHOLDERS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
This is the vision of our company. It is where everything starts. The words are simple yet what they point to is the most important thing we do here.
Working is what brings us together each day. Like our Triple Bottom Line we can never forget why we are together in this community. If we are not successful working together we are not successful at providing all the other benefits that this business allows. For over 44 years we have come together to do work. It is our reason for being together, yet there is so much more than that.
Together, we are, in work, and in life. Every individual action we take creates a reaction. Often we blame what is not working on something out there rather than on what we are doing in here.
I have seen companies hire individual/non-team players and it is a strategy that can work. It especially works when you are marching toward a short term goal or event. But if it is longevity (44 years in business at LMI Packaging Solutions), I think ‘together’ is the imperative word.
Growing, every day, our learning, what we provide, and what we contribute is the key to our success.
In today’s world especially, an ability to learn and grow, is critical to the success of any organization. Information is coming to us at laser speeds and he who can disseminate that information and apply it to the strategies and vision of their business will be most successful.
When we take on our individual responsibility for growth and development we provide to our team a benefit beyond any other. At LMI Packaging Solutions, we focus not only on IQ, but more importantly, EQ, or emotional intelligence. Full expression and self-awareness are cornerstones of the leadership we aspire to.
Growing is not an option in our successful community, it is a responsibility.
Finally, PROVIDING LIFELONG MEASURABLE IMPACT TO THE STAKEHOLDERS OF OUR COMMUNITY is the result we are after every day. When we speak of stakeholders we mean everyone we touch in our ECO-NETWORK. Whether it is a customer, a supplier, or a partner in our surrounding neighborhood, it is important that whoever walks through our doors, or interacts with us, gains measurable value from the experience.
We don’t always do things right around here. We often make mistakes, or learning’s, as we say, but when we do, we solve for our vision, “Working Together Growing Together to Provide Measurable Impact to The Stakeholders of Our Community.
We believe there are many places in this world, whereby, if we solved for a vision greater than any of our individual agendas and egos, the necessary progress for a sustainable future would be created. Whether it is in our relationships, families, schools or government we must get clear on the greater purpose and solve for it.
