We are seeking an Account Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and manage all aspects of the sales process requirements
    • Sales process adherence
    • Timely execution and entry of data into sales management system
    • Complete all monthly reporting requirements accurately and in a timely manner
    • Account and growth strategy development, prepare and communicate key account strategies and travel plans.
  • Represent company through various prospecting methods including phone, web meetings, field sales, as well as national and regional exhibits and trade shows.
  • Perform field work to sell and secure new business, to include important and major accounts and/or develop sales and secure business in new territories, with new industries, or with customers where full market potential or product line acceptance has not been established.
  • Coordinate and assist with the services of the company’s technical staff to determine customers’ needs and preparation of samples needed.
  • Prepare and complete paperwork related to customer orders, price quotes and returns.
  • Maintain understanding of materials, sizes and product segments.
  • Provide lead-time and delivery information related to customer orders.

Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, the Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing customers, suppliers, and sales force the necessary technical support and information regarding the use of LMI Packaging’s products. Expertise in LMI’s products and processes differentiate us from the competition and facilitate sales objectives. Primary duties and responsibilities include developing and manage customer and supplier relations, providing on-site technical support, discuss material quality issues, review process solutions, and determining the technical feasibility of packaging projects and materials.

  1. Provide Technical sales support for a new and existing business.
  2. Packaging equipment troubleshooting and/or other onsite technical support for customer trials.
  3. Incident resolution through diagnostics and in-person, hands-on assistance.
  4. 33% of domestic travel required. Some International travel may be required.
  5. Manage customer-focused food packaging material transition projects.
  6. Support external and internal trials following new product commercialization and product development processes.
  7. Support Product Development functions and interface with Suppliers. Provide and analyze technical data and recommend actions to bring issues to a prompt, satisfactory resolution.
  8. Accumulate technical data, complete in-depth reports and present reports to the appropriate departments, customers, or suppliers.
  9. Advise teams on issues related to product and customer strategies.
  10. Identify trends to formulate methods to prevent future problems.
  11. Develop and maintain equipment and supplier relationships.
  12. Develop knowledge of competitive products and capabilities.
  13. Project management of assigned projects.

Education and /or Experience

  1. Associates degree is preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably an engineering background.
  2. High School or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the product is printed according to specifications.
  2. Pulls job tickets and verify that stock and inks are available and correct.
  3. Verifies that anilox and plate cylinders are correct.
  4. Sets –up machine: installs anilox, inks, and stock and plate cylinders.
  5. Sets impression and registers to print.
  6. Complete Global Vision scan and obtain supervision verification.
  7. Completes all start-up checks and obtains art approval.
  8. Completes in-process inspections, follows work instructions and controls print quality.
  9. Closes out the job by completely and accurately filling out paperwork and scanning in all labor and material usage.
  10. Washes up the previous job before starting next.
  11. Maintains pH and viscosity for all inks during the production run.
