POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the President, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for finding and landing NEW business to LMI.  You will be responsible for landing new accounts, as we launch an exciting new product line.  You will need to be strategic, possess high emotional intelligence, including the ability to connect with people, to ultimately drive results!  The ideal candidate is a true team player that understands and supports our company values, mission and vision with a commitment and dedication to the LMI team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent LMI Packaging through various prospecting methods including, but not limited to, phone, online/web meetings, customer visits and trade shows.
  • Possess a team first attitude, showing the ability to work well with others, demonstrate a positive mindset, and a willingness to continue to learn and grow.
  • Elevate the customer experience with strong communication skills, both internal and external.  Communication strengths to include: high level of engagement, strong listening skills and personability.  Must be a problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years office, sales and/or customer interaction roles.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and land new customers.
  • Knowledge of Pressure-Sensitive Label industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Customer Care Manager, the Customer Care Representative will perform any combination of the following duties including being the primary phone contact for all incoming customer calls, providing accurate order entry, responsive customer service and perform basic office duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Represent LMI Packaging through various prospecting methods including customer calls, answering the phone, online meetings, customer visits, and trade shows.  Manage and grow house account book of business, while leading and executing Internal Sales projects.
  • Possess a team first attitude, showing the ability to work well with others, and a willingness to continue to learn and grow.
  • Support Strategic Account Managers, Sales Team and House Accounts fully by providing support with their book of customers.
  • Build strong relationships to provide customers with high level of service.
  • Responsible for Customer Care and promotional email inboxes and voicemail boxes.
  • Fill requests for brochures and samples.
  • Assist in investigations to expedite corrective action claims (CAPAs) to appropriate internal partner.
  • Food safety or quality responsibilities within job.  All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.

  • Minimum requirement High School diploma or general education degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

2nd Shift 2:00pm-20:30pm

3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am

This position will:

Be responsible for setting up and maintaining a multi-color flexographic press using water based, UV and solvent inks. The press operator must manage all aspects of the press performance including productivity and quality and must also have a strong understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used at LMI Packaging Solutions. Hours of Operation for this position: training on first shift (6 am-2:30 pm) for 8 weeks. Will then move to 2nd shift (2:00 pm-10:30 pm)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Food safety or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.

1. Ensure that product is printed according to specification.

2. Pulls job tickets and verify that stock and inks are available and correct.

3. Verifies that aniloxes and plate cylinders are correct.

4. Sets –up machine: installs aniloxes, inks, and stock and plate cylinders.

5. Sets impression and registers to print.

6. Complete Global Vision scan and obtain supervision verification.

7. Completes all start –up checks and obtains art approval.

8. Completes in- process inspections, follows work instructions and controls print quality.

9. Closes out job by completely and accurately filling out paper work and scanning in all labor and material usage.

10. Washes up previous job before starting next.

11. Maintains pH and viscosity for all inks during the production run.

12. Ability to manage the schedule as assigned.

13. Read and understand travelers and follow all instructions.

14. Responsible to report any food safety/quality problems to personnel in authority to initiate action-SQF Practitioner or direct supervisor.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Prior experience in a packaging or in food manufacturing a plus.

About the role:

Set up and run Die Cutter equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Must be able to meet or surpass production and quality standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Run production product
  • Maintain QC pulls
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Adhere to all QC Policies and Procedures.
  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies
    • Adhere to all SQF policy and procedures.
    • Understand and follow job ticket instructions.
    • Able to work overtime, including weekends
